brands are amazing

any press is good press.
even if LeBron wanted to just take that approach, like many have in somewhat similar vilifying scenarios, he isn't.
and though i'm not a huge fan of him, i AM a huge fan of brands being bold.
and daring.
and challenging.

especially challenging.

and with all the grief that Nike has been getting recently for taking over previously-notable-independent brands (e.g., Converse), them taking on other Nike spokespersons like MJ, is pretty awesome.

way to stay relevant and unwilling to appeal to the masses.

those two quotes are exactly what happened with lebron and the public...we wanted lebron to be who we wanted him to be annnnnd when he didn't we turned against him. truth is lebron is just a 25 year old kid who wants to play with is his friends. so yeah nike and lebron did a great job explaining it and stuff. but he should still shut up haha
